From maida to master carton
The production sequence.
Order matters here — each stage depends on the one before it holding its specification.
-
1
Raw material intake
Flour, oil and spice inputs are accepted against a specification and supplier documentation. Nothing enters production on a verbal assurance.
-
2
Dough and sheeting
The dough is mixed and rolled to a controlled thickness. This is what decides whether the noodle stays springy after two minutes or turns to paste.
-
3
Steaming, cutting and forming
Noodle strands are steamed, cut and formed into cakes at a set weight so every pack behaves the same in the consumer's pan.
-
4
Masala blending
The tastemaker is blended to a fixed recipe and filled by weight. Batch-to-batch consistency in the masala is what builds repeat purchase.
-
5
Packing, coding and dispatch
Sealed film, batch and expiry coding on pack and carton, then palletised for dispatch with matching documentation.
What we check, and why you should care
Each check exists because of a specific way a noodle pack can disappoint someone.
| Check | What goes wrong without it |
|---|---|
| Cake weight | Underweight packs are a legal metrology problem and a customer complaint waiting to happen. |
| Moisture level | Too much moisture shortens shelf life and softens the cake in the carton. |
| Seal integrity | A weak seal means damaged stock at your godown and returns you have to argue about. |
| Masala weight and blend | Inconsistent taste kills repeat purchase faster than anything else. |
| Batch coding | Without clean coding, a complaint cannot be traced and a claim cannot be settled fairly. |
| Carton strength | Cartons that collapse in transit turn good stock into damage claims. |

If something is wrong with a batch
What to do, and what we do.
Send us the batch code and a photo
Message the batch number, manufacture date and a photo of the pack to our trade line. We trace the batch, tell you honestly what we find, and settle the claim as per the written policy in your appointment letter. Complaints from a shopkeeper or a consumer get the same treatment as one from a distributor.
